Meet the Founder

Dr. Shari Goodhart, PT, DPT, received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University and her Bachelor's degree in Health Science from Drexel University. She specializes in sports rehabilitation, orthopedic physical therapy, concussion and vestibular rehabilitation (ImPACT certified), and running analysis. She is also an RRCA-certified running coach and provides on-field emergency medical care at sporting events.

Dr. Shari's passion for physical therapy is deeply personal, rooted in her own experience navigating multiple knee surgeries and over a decade of rehabilitation. That journey gave her firsthand insight into what patients truly need: care that is individualized, goal-driven, and attuned to the real-life demands placed on the body.

In practice, Dr. Shari takes a functional, hands-on approach, conducting thorough evaluations and designing customized treatment plans that reflect each patient's unique goals and lifestyle. By combining manual therapy with targeted exercise, she guides patients through healing, restoring strength, mobility, and confidence along the way. Her supportive style fosters an environment where patients feel motivated and empowered to make lasting progress.

About The Practice

Functional Physical Therapy Designed to Treat Your Individual Needs

Goodhart Physical Therapy was founded to raise the bar on what physical therapy can and should be. Every session is a dedicated, one-on-one 60-minute visit with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, giving you the time and attention to truly understand your goals — and the space to have fun getting there.

Here, physical therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we dig into what makes you move, what holds you back, and what you want to get back to. From there, we build a program that is uniquely yours, designed around your functional needs and the real-life activities that matter most to you.

Your first visit begins with a comprehensive evaluation to identify both a diagnosis and the underlying cause of your symptoms. Treatment starts right away and may include hands-on manual therapy, guided stretching, and targeted strengthening exercises — all tailored to where you are and where you want to go.

For your appointment, we recommend wearing comfortable, easy-to-move-in clothing.
